Certified free of harmful substances for the health of mother and child

TÜV's Toxproof becomes Oeko-Tex 100

Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of your family. The absence of harmful substances in all filling and covering materials used and one hundred percent product safety are always our top priority. The Theraline breastfeeding and pregnancy pillows with pearl filling have therefore carried the Toxproof® label of the TÜV-Rheinland since 1998. This certification for breastfeeding pillows free of harmful substances was developed in cooperation with Theraline. Since the end of July, the TÜV Rheinland test seal has now been replaced by the Oeko-Tex 100 seal of the Hohenstein Institute. The well-known seal gives you the assurance that you are purchasing a product that is guaranteed to be safe for your health. A transitional period has been agreed with TÜV Rheinland, during which it is possible that our inlets may still bear a TÜV label, no label or already the new Oeko-Tex 100 label. In any case, you can rely on our experience: We were the first supplier of breastfeeding pillows to start the elaborate treatment of our pillows against styrene vapours as early as 1993 and have been constantly developing our know-how in this area ever since.

Nursing pillow with Öko-Test award

In addition to the Toxproof® certificate from TÜV-Rheinland and the Ökotex 100 seal, which were awarded to all Theraline breastfeeding pillows back in 1998, our original Theraline breastfeeding pillow with the organic cover "fuchsia-cappuccino" was awarded the top mark of "very good" in the "after-effects" category by ÖKO-TEST in October 2018. ÖKO-TEST had already awarded the original Theraline as the first EPS pearl pillow with "very good" in September 2003. We are particularly pleased about the latest award for our "large" pillow "fuchsia-cappuccino". Of course, the other "large" as well as the "small" pillows also meet the requirements of the ÖKO-TEST magazine - because all pillows are made of largely identical materials. So even if you choose a different pillow from our range: You can be sure to purchase an all-round "healthy" product. For all Theraline products, we have been using only materials free of harmful substances since 1993. The microfine pearl filling is freed from possible harmful substances with special care.
